Delivery Driver Hide and Seek

I received an email: 'Your parcel has been delivered to a safe place.' I look outside. It's not at the door. It's not in the letterbox. I check the photo they attached. It's a blurry image of a brick.

I eventually found it tucked inside the recycling bin, moments before the truck arrived to empty it. What goes through a driver's head to think a rubbish bin on collection day is a 'safe place'?

At least knock! I am literally sitting in the lounge, staring out the window. They move with the stealth of a ninja, drop the package in a bush, and vanish into the mist.
