I Just Want a Menu, Not a PDF Download

You sit down at the table. The waiter says hello and points to a sticky little square sticker on the corner of the table. 'The menu is on the QR code,' they say brightly, before vanishing.

So now I have to pull out my phone, try to get the camera to focus on a scratched sticker, and then pinch and zoom around a massive PDF designed for a piece of A3 paper, while the screen glare blinds me.

Half the time the Wi-Fi is terrible, so you sit there waiting for the drinks list to load. Just hand me a piece of paper! A physical menu never runs out of battery, never loses signal, and never asks me to accept cookies before I can order a pie.
