Why Did You Move the Button?

I logged into my banking app yesterday and everything is different. The 'Transfer' button used to be at the bottom. Now it's hidden under a hamburger menu, inside a sub-menu called 'Wealth Management'.

Why do tech companies feel the need to completely rearrange the furniture every six months? Imagine if your car manufacturer sneaked into your garage overnight and swapped the brake and accelerator pedals to 'improve the user experience'.

If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Stop hiding my useful buttons under layers of minimalist whitespace. I don't want an 'experience', I want to pay my power bill.
